Concord Hotel Health Hazard
The fact that there is only one toilet and sink on the lower floor of the Concord Hotel is a Los Angeles County health hazard. This morning at 6:00 a.m. the lower floor toilet was occupied and so I had to go upstairs to use the two-toilet restroom on the first floor and it was full occupancy! This has never ever happened to me at any European pensione style hotel with communal bathrooms. At Hotel Pensione on Market Street in San Francisco I never even saw anyone in any of the communal bathrooms. This problem of no available commode never happened at the shared bathrooms at the Westchester Hotel in Culver City or the Ocean Beach Hotel in Santa Monica. Thank God tonight is my last night at Hotel 2 Twenty One Concord in the industrial beach town of El Segundo, California. I would sleep in my camper van before I would stay another night at Hotel 221!
No Physical or Psychological Space at 221 Concord
The rooms at the Concord Hotel are so small that a twin bed barely fits in mine. Next door there are two men in one tiny room. They appear to be in their room all day and their voices are very loud. I have asked Paris to let me out of my one week booking but she refuses without adding a surcharge to my booking in case they cannot rent my room. These cheap motel rooms are always full by the evening. This cheap hotel would not have lost anything by letting me out of this weekend.
What Does Not Kill Me Makes Me Blog Faster
It would be so much better for the Concord Hotel to let me out of my booking and get some other sucker in here. If the Concord Hotel would let me out of my booking, I wouldn’t have to write multiple blogs venting about how much I hate their crummy little beach bum hotel. Fake kitchenette, limited street parking, no sink in room, small inadequate communal bathrooms. The Concord Hotel is a heath hazard and must have the absolute bare minimum heath code compliance to operate legally as a hotel in the City of Los Angeles.
