Balanced by Breathing
My life is newly balanced because of my strong Kundalini breath of fire practice. My core is ballasted by my huge lower back and abdominal muscles. My new stomach muscles are so thick I have to be careful not to cramp them when I am working out.
My new balance body moves and sways to the chill out music in coffee shops, restaurants and the car wash. Based in balance bobbing and weaving at the laundromat in my sheepskin slippers.
Car Wash Dance
A couple of weeks ago at the Playa Vista Car Wash, Allejandra the cashier said: “Are you dancing?” “Yes.” My body feels hot juicy electric and movement feels really good.
The vibe begins in the stream room at five am and the precision of naked Kundalini full lotus and head stands. It’s all come down to this. Standing on my head naked at 5:30 am in the demilitarized zone in between Westchester and Culver City.
7:00 am Siri Shakti Pam Davis Kundalini Yoga Meditation chanting in the kriya for organization of creative energy: Hut, hut, hut, hut. hut. This morning she taught us that holding on to the big toe while stretching the leg stimulates the pituitary gland. Now the I know why I have been holding my toes intuitively while practicing on my own in the desert. I haven taken control of my energy and transformed myself into a happy and whole human being. Taking Kundalini classes give me a formal scientific framework for what I have been practicing intuitively my whole life.
Teacher Training vs. Permanent Student
I’m glad I dropped out of teacher training to become a professional yoga student. I probably would not have learned as much about Kundalini if I became a teacher in eight months. My life would probably not be as balanced as it is right now if I was competing to become a Kundalini yoga teacher.
