The Lake Havasu City Jail is Huge!
The Lake Havasu City jail is not just for snow birds and desert rats anymore. Cathedral City, California used to be the poor man’s Palm Springs. But because California has become so expensive that is no longer the case. Now Lake Havasu City is the poor man’s Cathedral City. Ergo, Lake Havasu City is the poor man’s Palm Springs.
Jeffrey Cowan moved from Palm Springs to Cathedral City. Then he moved from Cat City to Havasu. Palm Springs and the entire state of California have become too expensive for the average gay man. Gays of a feather flock together.
Now homosexual retirees have flocked to more affordable locations in the gay friendly Arizona desert. Birds of a feather flock together. As a result, the Lake Havasu City Jail is immense in order to accommodate the legion of gay criminals like Jeff Cowan who have flocked to the Arizona desert in droves.
Why Jeff’s name never appears on the Mohave Count Jail list of inmates
Jeff Cowan needs to hire a good defense attorney. Maybe then he could get a COVID overcrowding release. After all, Jeff is 66 years old with the comorbidity factors of obesity and very poor hygiene.
In normal times Jeff Cowan would be permanently housed in the Mohave County Jail and only stay in the Havasu Jail during his court appearances. Just like he was long-term housed in the Riverside County Jail and only went to the local Indio jail for his court hearings in that jurisdiction. But in Arizona, COVID has changed all that.
BRANDON MESSICK – Today’s News Herald – HAVASU NEWS.COM April 3, 2020:
The Lake Havasu City Police department has taken measures to prevent overcrowding at the city’s jail after the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office announced last month that it would now limit its intake of new inmates at the facility.
Both measures are being taken to limit the potential spread of a nationwide coronavirus epidemic among local inmate populations.
“The Lake Havasu City Police Department has taken measures to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in our jail by citing and releasing non-violent offenders of misdemeanor crimes to limit the jail population,” said Havasu Police Sgt. Tom Gray on Thursday. “These offenders are given a future court appearance date.”
Violent offenders like Jeff Cowan are not eligible for release to prevent COVID-19 overcrowding
The Lake Havasu jail must be getting awfully overcrowded these days. If Jeff is sent to the Mohave County Jail he will show up on that inmate roster. I keep checking it every day.
Crime & Karma
Why am I so obsessed with Jeff Cowan in jail? Because it is comforting to know that he will be punished for making my life miserable when I was his tenant in Palm Springs. It is spiritually uplifting to know that the law of karma is inescapable. It is illuminating to experience the joy of my life as a result of my conduct. Karma is not instant but it is perfect.
