LOCKED UP

I want to throw you into the Los Angeles County Hall of Justice and throw away the key!

The only reason that I never made it into the 27 Club is because I was locked up in the old Hall of Justice jail that year. The 27 Club is for musicians who die at the age of 27. When I was 27 years old I was convicted of my 3rd DUI. The court sentenced me to six months, but I only had to serve three. I got three months of my time knocked off for good behavior. The drummer in my band would visit me every two weeks or so. I failed as a song writer and I failed at getting accepted into the 27 Club.

Christmas in jail

I spent Christmas 1984, New Year’s and my 28th Birthday locked up in the 19th Century jail inside the old Hall of Justice located in downtown Los Angeles, California. My life is much different now. These days I stay out of jail. To compensate for my non-occupancy and keep the jailers employed, now I help put other people like Jeff Cowan and John Herriot in jail.

Investigator School

The most exciting way to learn complicated new job skills is to get paid to learn. Attorneys and insurance companies taught me how to be a professional investigator. I was a digital sleuth before the internet as we know it came into being. We logged onto Lexis and Westlaw at the C prompt using DOS. Back then you had to learn basic Boolean logic to search. You couldn’t just type in your search terms like you can now in Google and all the other search engines. We didn’t even have web browsers back then.

Digital Vigilante

Almost everyone who has ever tried to mess with me has suffered as a result. There are approximately ten bad actors whose lives have been virtually ruined thanks to my blogs posted here. Convicted gay pedophiles, fraudulent gay politicians, neighbors who have spread vicious rumors. Hypocrites and fakes of many colors have been exposed here. It’s like I’m running my own little digital hall of justice and locking up criminals in these posts.
